Poll: BCC issue divides UNC on racial lines

Document Description: The campus community’s allegiances divided between the case for a multicultural center versus a Black cultural center by the spring of 1992. Predictably, the case for a multicultural center, which would presumably celebrate the diversity of campus, grew among white students and administrators. This poll in the Daily Tar Heel examines different attitudes about the potential BCC divided between white and Black students.
