The Town of Chapel Hill dedicated the Peace and Justice Plaza, located in front of the old Chapel Hill Courthouse (now Post Office) on Franklin Street in 2009. The Plaza honors the thousands of Chapel Hill citizens who have organized for social justice in Chapel Hill, and over a dozen citizens are commemorated on a granite plaque in the plaza, including Yonni Chapman and Rebecca Clark.
